Haynes and Boone, LLP Senior Counsel J. Kelly Bufton has been elected to the Board of Directors for Chicagoland Habitat for Humanity (CHFH) and named Secretary to the Board. Kelly is a longtime supporter of Habitat for Humanity, having previously served as chair of the Board of DuPage Habitat for Humanity.
A member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group in Chicago, Kelly has represented clients on both sides of every kind of transaction in the real estate industry. He has represented landlords and tenants, sellers and buyers, lenders and borrowers, and developers and investors.
Kelly works on development projects, finance transactions (on behalf of lenders and borrowers), acquisitions and dispositions, joint venture agreements, and leases, among other matters.
