Senior Counsel Lynne Liberato Earns 2026 Texas Legal Awards Lifetime Achievement Award, Four Attorneys Named Finalists

Haynes Boone is proud to announce that five attorneys have been recognized by Texas Lawyer in the 2026 Texas Legal Awards Shortlist, which honor attorneys and legal professionals for their outstanding achievements and contributions across Texas.

Senior Counsel Lynne Liberato was named a Lifetime Achievement Award winner for having a significant impact on the practice of law in Texas. A nationally recognized appellate attorney, Liberato has argued before the United States Supreme Court and handled some of the state’s most significant legal matters. Her accomplishments include securing a reversal in a closely watched Texas Supreme Court Public Information Act case and leading the legal representation for the NFL during the Houston Super Bowl.

In addition, four Haynes Boone attorneys were selected as finalists in the following categories:

  • Partner Kellie Bobo – Influential Woman of the Year Finalist, honoring Bobo’s leadership, professional accomplishments and contributions to the legal community.
  • Partner Austin Elam – Energy Attorney of the Year Finalist, highlighting Elam’s counsel on complex energy matters and transactions.
  • Partner Larry Shosid – Dealmakers of the Year Finalist, recognizing Shosid’s work on significant transactions and strategic matters for clients.
  • Associate Ethan Moore – Most Promising Newcomer Finalist, for Moore’s early-career achievements, legal acumen and growing impact on clients and the firm.

Finalists and winners of the Texas Legal Awards are selected through a multi-step review process conducted by Texas Lawyer and Law.com, which includes public nominations, editorial evaluation and input from external expert panels.
