Haynes and Boone, LLP Partner Megan Gess was named one of the nation’s leading female dealmakers in 2022 by the Global M&A Network, LLC. She was honored with other dealmakers at a virtual award ceremony on May 5.

Based in the firm’s Orange County office, Megan has extensive experience advising companies on sophisticated M&A, corporate governance, private equity, securities, and commercial transactions. Megan’s experience spans a broad range of industries, including food and beverage, financial services, technology, healthcare and life sciences.
She recently led a deal team that advised Toast Spirits LLC in a joint venture partnership with Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits. The joint venture was announced April 4. According to the terms of the deal, Deutsch Family will acquire a minority ownership stake in Beau Joie Champagne, as well as exclusive sales and marketing rights for the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. Beau Joie is a Top 16 Champagne in the United States, with distribution in 45 states.
