The release of the 2022 WIPR Leaders Directory follows a four-month nomination period in which WIPR sought views from 12,000 IP professionals and vetted every nominated lawyer for suitability by exploring their practice history, industry expertise and notable cases, as well as any additional activities, such as writing and teaching responsibilities. Albers is a member of Haynes Boone’s board of directors and serves as trusted adviser and counsel to Fortune 500 companies and high-growth ventures on the management of their valuable brand investments. Her primary practice focus includes: U.S. and foreign trademark clearance, protection and enforcement strategy; U.S. and foreign trademark and internet enforcement, including oppositions, cancellations and Uniform Dispute Resolution Proceedings (UDRP) disputes; social media counseling and enforcement; and copyright, trade dress, non-traditional trademark and customs counseling and enforcement. Becker is one of only 11 U.S. trademark attorneys who has been repeatedly, nationally recognized by World Trademark Review’s WTR 1000, Globe Publishing, Ltd. (2011-2022), for his experience in trademark law and for having the rare combination of both “Prosecution and Strategy” and “Enforcement and Litigation” skill.
