Biography

Nick Beals is an associate in the Real Estate Practice Group in Haynes Boone’s Dallas office. He represents developers, joint ventures, investment funds, private equity sponsors, and lenders in sophisticated commercial real estate transactions across the United States, with experience spanning acquisitions and dispositions, borrower-side and construction financing, joint ventures, development projects, and ground lease structures.

Nick regularly works on complex transactions that require coordination among financing, land control, and development documentation, and he is deeply involved in matters involving construction loans, infrastructure and development financing, and long-term leasing arrangements. His practice also includes managing title, survey, zoning, and entitlement diligence for industrial, multifamily, retail, and other commercial assets, ensuring that projects are legally executable and financeable.

He is known for his strong technical foundation and ability to operate across multiple components of a transaction simultaneously. Nick brings a disciplined, practical approach to deal execution and is valued for his ability to anticipate issues, manage complexity, and support senior deal counsel in driving transactions to a successful closing.
