Biography
James W. Hollis Jr., serves as counsel in the Real Estate Practice Group at Haynes Boone's San Antonio office. James represents purchasers, sellers, borrowers, developers, investors, landlords, and tenants in complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, management, and financing.
With more than two decades of legal experience his background includes managing legal due diligence for single‑site and multi‑site transactions, supervising legal teams, and guiding clients through all phases of real estate projects. James brings deep Texas‑based experience across real estate, business transactions, title matters, and development strategy, making him a valuable resource to clients navigating sophisticated commercial property issues.
James also has experience assisting clients with structuring, drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements and related arrangements providing strategic legal insight and practical solutions that support clients’ business objectives.
