Angel Rendon
Angel Rendon is an associate in the Finance Practice Group in Haynes Boone’s New York office.
Angel’s practice focuses on the representation of borrowers and lenders across a diverse spectrum of financial transactions, including leveraged acquisitions, subscription finance, net asset value facilities, and syndicated lending. Angel’s extensive experience with lending and borrowing at upper and lower levels of portfolio structures and his problem-solving approach to dealmaking add value for his clients, which include large foreign and domestic financial institutions, leading and middle-market private equity firms, and public companies.
Prior to law school, Angel spent nearly a decade working with New York City government oversight agencies and he maintains a growing pro bono practice focused on parole reform and advocacy. In 2022 and 2023, Angel also served as co-chair of the firm’s Next Gen Network, an inclusion network dedicated to supporting and promoting the firm’s emerging leaders, and he is the current chair of the Diversity Committee for the New York office.
