John Eldridge Named Board Chairman of the French-American Chamber of Commerce -- Houston

Haynes and Boone, LLP Senior Counsel John Eldridge has been named Chairman of the French-American Chamber of Commerce (FACC) Houston Board of Directors.

The FACC Houston is a non-profit organization that fosters strong economic and business relations between Houston and France through high-level networking, knowledge-sharing, and commercial services.

Having a passion for all things French, Eldridge has prior experience working with the FACC.

“I look forward to continuing service to the American and French business communities in my new role with the FACC, which is a very dynamic and successful organization.”

Eldridge serves as co-chair of the firm’s Pro Bono and Public Service Committee. He also has devoted a great deal of time to community service, including serving as president or an executive committee member of many boards such as the Awty International School, Da Camera of Houston, Rice School of Humanities, and Rice Center for Career Development. He was recently named to the Association of Rice Alumni (ARA) Board of Directors.

Eldridge has practiced environmental law for 40 years in Houston and Washington, D.C. His practice, including the 20-plus years as a partner at Haynes and Boone, has involved corporate transactions, regulatory analysis, litigation and appellate work.
