Haynes and Boone, LLP Partner Chris Kang has been selected to participate in the Dallas Regional Chamber’s (DRC’s) 46th Leadership Dallas class.
Founded in 1975, Leadership Dallas is the region’s premier leadership development program. Through a rigorous application process, DRC selects a group of diverse individuals based on proven leadership potential within their organization and in the Dallas community. The nine-month leadership development program includes a two-day retreat, twenty-four 90-minute lunch and learn sessions, and eight monthly three-hour learning sessions, monthly homework and committee assignments, and a class service project.
“I’m pleased to have been admitted to the prestigious Leadership Dallas program,” Chris said. “I look forward to the opportunity to learn alongside some of Dallas’s most impressive up-and-coming leaders.”

Chris is a member of the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice Group in Haynes and Boone’s Dallas office. He has served as a trusted adviser to numerous companies, financial institutions, private investment funds, investment fund managers, and tax-exempt entities with respect to complex matters involving ERISA, employee benefits, and executive compensation, and is a go-to person for financial institutions and investment funds for practical advice and solutions on ERISA and employee benefits-related matters that will help further their business goals.
He was named a “Best Lawyer Under 40” by the Asian Pacific Interest Section (APIS) of the Texas State Bar in 2016 and selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers Rising Stars, Thomson Reuters, 2016-2020.
