We represented a number of clients that were sued by a group of potentially responsible parties seeking contribution for environmental clean up and response costs in connection with the U.S. Oil Recovery Superfund Site in Pasadena, Texas. The plaintiffs' claims were brought pursuant to both CERCLA and the Texas Solid Waste Disposal Act. On behalf of our clients, who had allegedly disposed of waste or shipped waste to the site, we analyzed the claims of the plaintiffs and negotiated favorable confidential settlements securing our clients' dismissal from the lawsuit.
