A disturbing consequence during times of national emergency is the rapid rise in incidents of direct and implied bias bringing with it the potential for tragic results. Currently, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Asian-American and other minority communities are subject to alarming levels of bias. Our panelists share their real world experiences and examine the anecdotal, historical and workplace implications of bias during a time of national emergency.
