Haynes Boone has opened its 20th office with the launch of a new Boston location at One Financial Center, providing clients across the greater New England region with specialized services in investment management regulatory matters, complex business litigation and asset securitization. The new outpost has opened with the addition of Office Managing Partner Richard Kerr as well as Partners Dan Rosenfeld and Donela Qirjazi, with more attorneys and services to be added in the near future.
The trio of new partners are joined by existing Haynes Boone Boston-based Litigation Partner Lauren Coppola, who joined the firm in July, as well as Asset Securitization Counsel David Sagalyn, who arrived in February.
The firm is moving into a state-of-the-art office space in the same building as its temporary office, with the permanent expansion scheduled to be completed in April 2026. The Boston office reflects Haynes Boone’s strategic growth into key markets, positioning the firm to serve New England’s dynamic investment management, finance, technology, healthcare and other growth sectors.
The opening marks Haynes Boone’s latest step in the firm’s northeast growth strategy, building on its recent momentum across the region. Since the beginning of 2025, Haynes Boone has grown its New York office by 35% in headcount, marked by the addition of a dozen lateral partners and plans for expansion at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. The firm also relocated to a larger space in Washington D.C. in May of last year, and opened an office in Northern Virginia in 2023.
“We have long seen Boston as a natural complement to our strengths across the Northeast,” said Haynes Boone Firm Managing Partner Taylor Wilson. “This new office reflects our commitment to serving sophisticated clients and to expanding strategically in key financial and innovation hubs.”
Kerr and Qirjazi join Haynes Boone from K&L Gates, along with Associate Jennifer McCoy. Their practices focus on investment management for registered investment companies, investment advisors, broker-dealers and digital assets. They have extensive experience counseling clients on mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, bank collective investment trusts, tokenization projects and staking vehicles.
“Joining Haynes Boone is an exciting opportunity to establish the firm’s presence in Boston and expand its reach,” Kerr said. “We’re building a team that understands the complex regulatory and litigation landscape in Boston and is backed by the strength and depth of an internationally respected platform.”
Rosenfeld joins the firm from Sullivan & Worcester LLP. A seasoned trial lawyer, he represents clients in complex business disputes in state and federal courts and in domestic and international arbitration. His experience spans shareholder derivative suits, securities litigation, employment disputes, intellectual property, insurance, professional liability, product liability, mass torts, antitrust and class actions. He has served as lead counsel in high-stakes, multi-jurisdictional litigation.
Haynes Boone has welcomed 30 lateral partners firmwide since the beginning of 2025, strengthening the firm’s capabilities in private credit, capital markets, investment management, labor and employment, M&A, energy, intellectual property and litigation.
