Haynes Boone Co-Founder Michael Boone, Firm Managing Partner Taylor Wilson and Partner Janice Davis have been named in D CEO magazine’s 2026 Dallas 500 directory, which highlights the most powerful and influential business leaders in North Texas. This is the fifth year that Boone and Wilson have been included in this prestigious list and the first year for Davis.
The directory provides an engaging, personal look at those “who drive the North Texas economy and make it such a vibrant place to work and live.”

Michael M. Boone
Boone has more than 40 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, securities transactions and board-of-director representations. He has been recognized by Chambers USA from 2016-2025 as one of the leading practitioners in Texas for Corporate/M&A. Additionally, Boone was inducted into the Texas Business Hall of Fame in 2024 and was named to D Magazine’s Hall of Fame in 2023 for ranking among the best lawyers of Dallas for over 15 years.
Taylor H. Wilson
Named the managing partner of Haynes Boone in 2021, Wilson focuses his practice on corporate/securities, private equity, M&A and general corporate matters, regularly advising investment advisers to both domestic and offshore funds with respect to fund formation and investment management activities. Wilson is also actively involved in the Dallas community, serving on the executive committees of the Dallas Regional Chamber and the Center for American and International Law.
Janice Davis
Davis, who joined Haynes Boone earlier this year, counsels clients on a variety of commercial transactions and has extensive experience working on complex M&A transactions, joint ventures, divestitures, private placements, spinouts, recapitalizations and other similar transactions. D CEO and the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Dallas/Fort Worth recently named her the 2025 Attorney of the Year at the 12th Annual Mergers and Acquisitions Awards. Davis is also actively involved with the International Women’s Forum and ACG, serves on several board committees for Broadway Dallas and is chair-elect of Dallas CASA.
