Latinvex has recognized Haynes Boone International Practice Group Co-Chairs Alberto de la Peña and Larry Pascal among Latin America's Top 100 Lawyers for 2026. De la Peña was honored in the Corporate/M&A category, while Pascal was recognized for his work across corporate/M&A, energy, aviation and real estate. The recognition highlights Haynes Boone's strength in advising clients on complex cross-border transactions and investments throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
The annual ranking recognizes leading attorneys from international law firms active in Latin America. Latinvex’s editorial and research team selected 100 lawyers from 55 law firms across 15 practice areas, evaluating candidates based on recent work on major matters, prominence in the region and recognition from third-party ranking organizations.
“It is an honor to be recognized by Latinvex alongside so many accomplished lawyers across Latin America,” said de la Peña. “We remain focused on helping clients navigate complex cross-border matters and capture opportunities throughout the region.”
"Latin America continues to present significant opportunities for clients across industries ranging from energy and infrastructure to aviation and real estate,” Pascal added. “This recognition is a testament to the collaborative efforts of our team and the strong relationships we have built with our clients across the region.”
The individual honors follow Haynes Boone's recent recognition in the Latinvex 2026 rankings of top international law firms in Latin America, where the firm earned rankings in seven different practice areas, including Band 1 distinctions in Aviation and Airports and in Real Estate. The accolades underscore the firm's continued investment in its Latin America and Caribbean Practice Group and its ability to deliver integrated counsel across corporate, finance, energy, infrastructure, real estate and dispute resolution matters throughout the region.
Haynes Boone is one of the most active U.S. law firms operating in Mexico with a growing roster of international and Mexican clients. The firm has one of the largest Latin America and Caribbean practices among Am Law 100 firms, with lawyers who are native speakers or fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese and who regularly advise on matters involving civil law and international law concepts. Haynes Boone's lawyers have advised on some of the region's most significant projects across transportation, real estate, infrastructure and energy.
