Latinvex, which publishes daily news and weekly analysis on Latin American business, ranks the top international law firms in Latin America along with 17 subcategories based on factors including value, prominence and scope of work, as well as references among clients and peers.

“These honors from Latinvex underscore the momentum of our work across Latin America and the strategic investments we have made,” said Alberto de la Peña, co-chair of Haynes Boone’s International Practice Group. “Our team brings together deep regional experience, multidisciplinary capabilities and a commitment to delivering unparalleled, cross-border solutions to help clients succeed.”

The recognition reflects Haynes Boone’s continued investment in its Latin American and Caribbean capabilities and its commitment to helping clients navigate complex cross-border opportunities and regulatory developments throughout the region. Earlier this year, Haynes Boone hosted a discussion in Mexico City on the evolving role of the Texas Stock Exchange in U.S.-Mexico capital markets, bringing together business leaders, investors and advisors.

The firm also launched its Venezuela Energy and Infrastructure Taskforce and welcomed Houston Partner Sudan Maccio, strengthening Haynes Boone’s ability to advise multinational energy companies and infrastructure investors on regulatory, transactional and geopolitical considerations.

Haynes Boone is one of the most active U.S. law firms operating in Mexico with a growing list of both international and Mexican clients. It has one of the largest Latin American/Caribbean practices among the AmLaw 100 law firms. These lawyers are native speakers or fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese and are comfortable working with civil law and international law concepts. The firm is experienced in virtually all Latin American and Caribbean markets, with lawyers having helped clients navigate some of the most ambitious projects involving transportation, real estate, infrastructure and energy.
