Haynes and Boone represented USA Padel, the national governing body of padel in the United States, in its recently announced multi-year clothing partnership with the Canadian apparel company Psycho Bunny Inc.
Under the agreement, Psycho Bunny will supply the uniforms for the USA Padel National Teams in international competitions at all levels, including the men’s, women’s and junior levels.
The Haynes Boone cross-border team consisted of Dallas Partner Larry Pascal and Associate Sergio Guerrero (Mexico City). Pascal has advised USA Padel in prior sponsorship agreements and serves on the Board of Directors of USA Padel.
“Haynes Boone was an indispensable member of the USA Padel Team for this agreement, and its deep knowledge of the business of sports (and padel in particular) was extremely helpful in guiding us through the process,” said President of USA Padel Bill Ullman.
This transaction follows Haynes Boone’s recent representation of Apollo Sports Capital in its $225 million investment in the parent company of Major League Pickleball and the Professional Pickleball Association Tour, further reflecting the firm’s expanding work at the intersection of sports, business and strategic transactions.
Recently, Pascal was selected to represent the USA National Team at the Senior Padel World Championships in Buenos Aires later this year organized by the FIP, marking the third time he has been selected to represent his country in the Senior Padel World Championships. Pascal is a U.S. international who served as flag bearer for the National Team at the FIP World Senior Championships in Alicante, Spain, and was the nation’s top-ranked player in his age bracket in 2023.
