Haynes Boone Partner Larry Shosid has been named a finalist for Dealmaker of the Year by D CEO, recognizing his impact on several of the most significant transactions in the last year. The winners will be announced at D CEO’s 2026 Mergers & Acquisitions Awards, presented in partnership with the Association for Corporate Growth DFW in early May.
Shosid’s practice focuses on complex mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and strategic corporate matters, with particular depth in cross-border and energy-related deals, and this nomination places Shosid amongst the standout dealmakers in North Texas.
In the last year, Shosid led Haynes Boone’s representation of Millbio in its cross-border acquisition to form a global clean-label ingredients leader, a transformative transaction that significantly expanded the company’s international platform. He also played a key role in advising Fermi America on its historic $14 billion IPO and dual listing, one of the most significant capital markets events in the energy and infrastructure sector this past year.
In addition, Shosid has led longstanding buy-side acquisition work for Ryan, LLC, the world’s largest firm dedicated exclusively to business taxes. His representation spans several decades and includes numerous acquisitions across the property tax, severance tax, software and other tax specialty areas.
Haynes Boone’s Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group has comprehensive experience handling middle-market deals, having helped clients close more than 500 transactions in the last five years, with an aggregate value exceeding $50 billion. The firm routinely represents private equity firms, closely held corporations, founders, large financial institutions and Fortune 500 public companies.
