Michael Maroulis

Michael Maroulis

Michael Maroulis is an associate focusing his practice on the areas of government contracts and construction. He has experience in bid protests, contract drafting, alternative dispute resolution, litigation, regulatory compliance, and navigating government contract disputes.

Before joining Haynes Boone, Michael served as a summer law clerk. He previously was a project manager with a general contractor in the Mid-Atlantic area prior to attending law school.

Michael received his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where he served as an Articles Editor for the Berkeley Journal of International Law, and received a Business Law Certificate in 2022. During law school, he researched cost and time overruns on California transit agency megaprojects, publishing policy recommendations for transit agencies and state policymakers.

Michael graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.A. in Philosophy in 2014. He is a member of the Virginia State Bar Association.
