Haynes and Boone Lawyers Write Real Estate Law Chapter for Chambers Mexico Guide

May 03, 2017

Mexico City Partners Antonio Diez de Bonilla and Gerardo Carrillo Valadez have written the Legal Q&A chapter for Chambers and Partners’ new guide on real estate law and practice in Mexico, which offers current and timely information on navigating the legal system while doing business in Mexico.

In 2016, Chambers recognized Haynes and Boone’s real estate practice in its Mexico-wide ranking and likewise recognized the firm’s banking and finance, corporate/M&A, energy and natural resources, and projects practices.

“Our work on this Chambers Mexico guide illustrates the depth of knowledge we have in Mexican real estate law, which complements our experience in many other Mexican legal practices,” said Partner Alberto de la Peña, co-head of the Mexico Practice Group. “The firm has a long-standing commitment to the region, and we pride ourselves on being trusted advisors in Mexico.”

Haynes and Boone, LLP has been serving clients from its office in Mexico City for more than 22 years. It is one of the most active U.S. law firms operating in Mexico with a growing list of both international and Mexican clients. The firm’s fully bilingual and bi-cultural Mexico City office has legal professionals licensed in both Mexico and the U.S. and trained in both legal systems. Its professionals are highly experienced in cross-border and domestic transactions in practice areas that include aviation, banking and finance, corporate, food and beverage,  energy, environmental, healthcare, hospitality, infrastructure, litigation, maritime, real estate, tax, transportation, technology, telecommunications and water.
