Next Steps of COVID-19 Insurance Recovery: Responding to Insurers, Litigation Decisions, and Supporting Claims

May 19, 2020

Join presenters from our firm’s Insurance Recovery Practice Group for a discussion of what policyholders need to know about insurance coverage claims, including:

  • The various insurance coverage actions that have been filed across the country related to COVID-19, including class actions and how businesses should protect their rights
  • Whether insureds should provide notice and the timing requirements for doing so
  • The responses by insurers to notices of claims, including requests for recorded statements and questions being posed that are designed to bolster their denials of coverage
  • How insureds should marshal their losses, including coordinating with their finance teams and potentially retaining a forensic accountant
