Haynes and Boone Recognized in 2018 Legal 500 Latin America Directory

Haynes and Boone, LLP and its Mexican affiliate, Haynes and Boone, SC are featured in the 2018 edition of The Legal 500 Latin America directory of leading law firms.

Haynes and Boone had eight lawyers recognized in Legal 500 Latin America: Nicolas Borda; William “Hunt” Buckley; Rafael Carmona; Eduardo Corzo; Alberto de la Peña; Hector Herrera; Larry Pascal; and Jorge Sanchez.

The Legal 500 directory also ranked the following firm practice areas:

Banking and Finance: Eduardo Corzo and Rafael Carmona co-head a banking and finance team that advises on project, shipping and real estate finance, among other matters, the directory said.

Energy and Natural Resources: The firm has “an excellent pedigree, with its lawyers distinguished by their professionalism and solid knowledge in energy and oil and gas, including upstream and downstream. The team is led by Nicolas Borda, who is a leading figure in the market, while senior counsel William “Hunt” Buckley and the up-and-coming Eduardo Corzo add another layer of industry knowledge.”
