Haynes Boone Marks 10th Year with Expanded Office in the City of London

December 16, 2025

Haynes Boone has relocated its London office to a modern, state-of-the-art space in the heart of the City of London, cementing its long-term commitment to the UK market and fueling its next phase of strategic growth. The move adds more than 5,000 square feet of space and positions the firm geographically among the world’s leading financial institutions, global corporations and peer firms that define the City’s business landscape.

The relocation caps a year of substantial expansion for Haynes Boone in London, notably including the addition of an eight-lawyer team led by Co-Office Managing Partner Nick Davis. Now the firm’s largest international office and fourth-largest overall, the outpost has surged to 60 lawyers since it first opened in 2016 with just 13 lawyers across shipping, energy and international trade. Today, the office commands broad capabilities across those industries and have added abilities in mergers and acquisitions, fund finance, international arbitration, capital markets, real estate, insolvency and finance.

The new office, located at Aldercastle at 10 Noble Street, showcases a fresh, contemporary design built to spark collaboration and elevate the client experience. Amenities include a dedicated lounge for clients visiting London, a fully equipped workspace for those needing a professional base in the City and a content studio designed to power CLE recordings and other programming.

The relocation project was led by London Energy Partner Glenn Kangisser, who oversaw the project from planning through move in, coordinating the firm’s teams and external partners to deliver the new space on time and to specification.

“Establishing our expanded office in London positions us to serve clients in the United Kingdom and throughout Europe with even greater reach,” Haynes Boone Managing Partner Taylor Wilson said. “The larger footprint will deepen the cross-border collaboration between London and our U.S. offices that is central to the way we help clients navigate global opportunities and challenges.”

The new location features a 33 percent increase in lawyer offices and workspaces and can accommodate nearly 100 team members. To support continued growth, the firm also retains certain rights to expand within the building as client demand and headcount increase.

“Our London team has grown significantly in the last year, and this new space reflects both the momentum we’re seeing in the market and the strength of our platform at Haynes Boone,” said Co-Office Managing Partner William Cecil. “In our 10th year since our merger, our London office has become deeply integrated into the global platform we offer clients.”

“Moving into the City is an important milestone and a clear signal of the direction Haynes Boone is headed,” said Davis. “The new space positions us to deepen our work in London and across Africa and the Middle East, giving us the platform to pursue the next phase of our growth.”

Just this year, the firm’s London outpost has seen expanded work in cross-border capital markets and corporate matters spanning the United Kingdom, North America and Africa. Among notable deals in the second half of the year, Davis and Partner Robert Bines-Black advised Fermi America on the largest U.S. IPO in London by market cap since the beginning of 2015 and Venture Capital Partner Karma Samdup represented Backed VC in the closing of a $100 million fund.
