Haynes Boone Represents Saras Capital in Fund Closing

January 20, 2026

Haynes Boone represented London-based private investment firm Saras Capital on the successful final close of its second fund, Saras Capital II LP. The new fund will continue investing at the intersection of tech and bio, with a focus on early-stage, Vertical AI & SaaS for the Biopharma industry and AI-native biotechs.

Haynes Boone previously advised Saras Capital on the establishment of their first fund in 2020 and has continued to support the investment firm as its legal adviser. The Haynes Boone Investment Management team supporting Saras Capital included London Partners Karma Samdup and Ronan McCann, with support from London Associates Mina-Marie Doherty and Kirsty Harshaw.

"Our investment thesis remains unchanged", said Saras Capital Managing Partner Nadav Rosenberg. "The biopharmaceutical industry is undergoing structural change. In the coming decade, new technologies will deliver novel medicines, more personalised treatments and wider patient access, creating significant opportunities for value creation. Now is a great time to invest in the companies shaping this future."

“The Haynes Boone team provided excellent legal and commercial advice, managing each of our fund closings with precision and efficiently coordinating with other service providers to meet our deadlines,” said Ben Prince, finance and operations director of Saras Capital. “Their support was instrumental in bringing Saras Capital II to market, and we have established a truly enjoyable working relationship with the Haynes Boone team.”

Saras Capital II LP raised funds from a broad range of high-profile and well-regarded investors, including Isomer Capital, a London-based private investment firm focusing on European venture capital and secondaries. The investment reflects strong confidence in Saras Capital’s strategy, track record and team.

Saras Capital II LP builds on the firm’s established investment strategy and provides additional capital to continue pursuing high-conviction investment opportunities.

“We are proud to have continued our long-standing relationship with the Saras Capital team by supporting the launch of its second fund,” said McCann. “We very much look forward to continuing to assist Saras Capital as the firm goes from strength to strength.”
