The Texas Lawbook ranked Haynes Boone among the leading law firms in Texas for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and capital markets transactions in its 2026 1H Corporate Deal Tracker, which analyzes transactional activity involving Texas lawyers and law firms. The rankings highlight the firm's continued strength advising clients on sophisticated corporate transactions across Texas.

Haynes Boone ranked No. 3 in Texas-led M&A deal count, advising on 46 transactions totaling $8.5 billion in value during the first half of 2026. The firm also ranked No. 4 in Texas-related M&A deal count, advising on 58 transactions totaling more than $10.1 billion in transaction value.

In addition, four Haynes Boone M&A partners ranked among Texas' leading dealmakers on The Texas Lawbook's lawyer leaderboards for both Texas-led and Texas-related transactions: Simin Sun, Larry Shosid, Zach Burnett and Brent Beckert. Sun advised on 10 Texas-led transactions during the first half of the year, while Shosid and Burnett each advised on seven deals and Beckert advised on five.

Haynes Boone also earned recognition in the publication's capital markets rankings, earning top-10 status in both Texas-led and Texas-related deal counts. During the first half of 2026, the firm advised on more than 10 transactions totaling over $3.7 billion.
