Haynes and Boone Represents Administrative Agent to Lenders in Sundance Energy Chapter 11

A Haynes and Boone, LLP team represented the administrative agent for the senior secured lenders in the Chapter 11 cases of Sundance Energy Inc., et al (Sundance) a North America onshore independent oil and natural gas company, including the $137.5 million exit credit facility supporting the restructuring.

Through the Chapter 11 process, Sundance successfully completed its comprehensive financial restructuring. The restructuring was achieved through a prepackaged plan of reorganization, which was supported by 100% of the senior secured lenders.

The reorganization was confirmed by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas on April 19. Sundance has emerged from Chapter 11 protection in a strengthened financial position having eliminated over $250 million of funded debt obligations, according to a Sundance press release.
