Biography

Daniel Dubyak is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group in Haynes Boone’s Orange County office.

Daniel focuses his practice on representing global, middle market and emerging growth companies from formation to exit, handling all aspects of entity formation and general corporate governance issues, mergers and acquisitions (including structuring roll-ups and tax free reorganizations), complex corporate restructuring matters, financing events and securities regulation. Daniel has experience counseling both public and private companies on issues related to public offerings, merger and acquisitions, due diligence, stock options, and employment agreements.

Daniel earned his J.D. with corporate law and tax law concentrations from Loyola Law School. During law school, he was a semi-finalist on Loyola’s Transactional Negotiation Team, received the First Honors Award in Income Tax of Property Transactions, and was an in-house legal extern for a health insurance company. Daniel also earned an L.L.M. in taxation, graduating with high distinction from Loyola Law School. Daniel earned a B.S.B.A. in global business management and a B.A in psychology, summa cum laude, from Sierra Nevada College. At Sierra Nevada College, Daniel was a valedictorian candidate and earned Dean’s Highest Honors while being a captain on the men’s lacrosse team.
