Haynes Boone Restructuring Partner Kelli Norfleet has been inducted into the 37th Class of Fellows of the American College of Bankruptcy, one of the most prestigious honors in the bankruptcy and restructuring field. Norfleet’s election as a Fellow recognizes her contributions to bankruptcy practice, her professional integrity and her longstanding commitment to the legal community.
Fellows of the American College of Bankruptcy are selected through an invitation-only process that honors the nation’s leading insolvency professionals for their achievements and dedication to scholarship, leadership, public service and the advancement of the profession. The rigorous, multilayered selection process involves Circuit Admissions Councils, special committees and final approval by the College’s Board of Regents.
Based in Haynes Boone’s Houston office, Norfleet serves as chair of the firm’s Restructuring Practice Group, where she also advises clients on business bankruptcy, insolvency and restructuring matters, handling both in-court and out-of-court solutions across industries, including energy, construction, technology and aviation. She represents debtors, creditors and other stakeholders in major Chapter 11 cases and is known for her practical approach, ability to identify core issues and skill in building consensus to achieve cost-effective, workable outcomes.
“Kelli’s induction into the College is a well-deserved honor and a reflection of her outstanding work on behalf of clients and contributions to the broader restructuring community,” said Charles Beckham, former chair of the College’s Board of Directors and a partner in Haynes Boone’s Restructuring Practice Group. “Having worked alongside Kelli for many years, I’ve seen firsthand her leadership and deep commitment to the practice. We’re incredibly proud to see her recognized among the most respected professionals in the field.”
Norfleet joins other Haynes Boone partners who have been inducted into the College, including Patrick Hughes, Kenric Kattner, Ian Peck and Stephen Pezanosky.
