The annual guide highlights leading law firms operating in Latin America based on market presence, capabilities and work across the region.

Eight Haynes Boone partners were recognized as key lawyers in the guide, including:

In its International Counsel ranking, Latin Lawyer highlighted Haynes Boone’s “broad industry expertise in Latin America,” noting that the firm’s work spans corporate, M&A and energy, with experience across “virtually every major Latin American and Caribbean market.” The guide emphasized the firm’s integrated cross-border platform, regularly working across offices in the United States and Mexico with several attorneys qualified in multiple jurisdictions.

Haynes Boone’s Mexico City office was also recognized in the guide, reflecting more than 30 years of experience in the market and featuring capabilities across corporate, M&A, energy, tax, banking and finance, aviation and maritime matters. Latin Lawyer noted the close collaboration between the firm’s Mexico City, Dallas and Houston offices, “ensuring seamless counsel on cross-border transactions, regulatory matters and disputes.”

The publication highlighted Haynes Boone’s work advising international airlines and an aviation trade association on operational permits, commercial agreements and regulatory issues across Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as its experience handling cross-border acquisitions, joint ventures and market-entry strategies and complex commercial disputes in the telecommunications, aviation services and agribusiness sectors.

Latin Lawyer pointed to the firm's aviation capabilities as a distinguishing strength and noted the contributions of Haynes Boone's London office, particularly in shipbuilding and offshore oil and gas matters.

This recognition follows recent honors for de la Peña and Pascal, who were named among Latinvex's Top 100 Lawyers in Latin America for 2026, further underscoring Haynes Boone's leadership in cross-border transactions and investments throughout the region.
