A Haynes and Boone, LLP deal team represented Liberty Energy Inc. (“Liberty”) in its purchase of Siren Energy Companies LLC (“Siren”), a Permian-focused integrated natural gas compression and compressed natural gas delivery business. Liberty acquired Siren for an aggregate cash purchase price of $78 million, subject to normal closing adjustments.
Liberty announced the acquisition April 10, 2023, noting that the transaction is part of the company’s commercial launch of Liberty Power Innovations (“LPI”), an integrated alternative fuel and power solutions provider for remote applications. LPI’s initial focus is on compressed natural gas supply, field gas processing and treating, and well-site fueling and logistics.
Founded in 2011, Liberty is a leading North American energy services firm that offers an innovative suite of completion services and technologies to onshore oil and natural gas exploration and production companies.
